Albany County, Wyo. - The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has confirmed that an EF-U tornado touched down on Wednesday, June 11th in Albany County.  

The tornado was designated with a EF-U (or EF-Unknown) because no damaged occurred. No winds could be determined as well. 

The tornado did touch down in a ranch 9.5 miles to the northwest of Garrett, WY. This is the first tornado to touchdown in Wyoming for 2025.
