ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) – As the heartbeat of any thriving society, families play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our children. That’s why Volunteers of America is launching upcoming Family Classes, starting on May 14, 2024.

Dr. Karol Kumpfer’s Strengthening Families Program (SFP) notes that with access to the right tools and knowledge, parents can foster environments where children not only excel academically but also navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace. They require a strong foundation built upon loving relationships, clear boundaries regarding substance use, and guidance in crucial life skills. SFP provides precisely that.
